  • Lifestyle in Provence


    Have a unique experience to discover the local “art of life” and design, according to your interests, a “made to measure” tour focus on :

      - Markets and Gastronomy
    The rich and varied local produces make Provencal cuisine amongst the tastiest and highly colored.
    Make the most of your morning to meet our local producers, strolling around the market, the backbone of life in the village. Stood on the courses, in the shade of the plane trees, all stalls are a reflection of Provencal cuisine : natural, fresh and fragrant... 
    Find some real local specialties, from goats’ cheese to crushed olives and the morning’s fresh vegetables...Then, take a seat on the terrace and enjoy a few refreshments, aniseed-flavored called Pastis or otherwise and have a wonderful meal in one of the many restaurants serving typical, regional dishes (not included). You can choose from a long list !

      - Wines
    Provence is the birthplace of rosé wine. In Green Provence, the main appellations are Côtes de Provence. Here, making wine is a tradition, and many vineyards are there since Roman times

      - Olive oil and goat cheese
    Not as well known as the wine, you can also enjoy tastings of extra virgin olive oil produced at the mills and locally-produced goat cheese. Farmers will be delighted to talk to you about their work and share their passion

  • Romantic dinner and Marseille by night

    Seafood lovers realize your gourmet dream with authentic Bouillabaisse (not included) in a seafront restaurant in Marseille, followed by a memorable city tour discovering the highlights of Marseille by night. 

  • The Verdon canyon and Moustiers Sainte Marie, city of the earthenware

    This is one of the most beautiful natural site in Europe, surely the deepest canyon. Basically the Verdon and turquoise water sinks into the meanders of the limestone in an impressive way.

    Some vultures reintroduced bring a mysterious note Gorges du Verdon and lot of rivers and waterfalls make it a perfect playground for canyoning and water activities.

    The city of Moustiers Sainte Marie, labeled One of the most beautiful villages in France, is located in a gorgeous setting, at the base of rocky cliffs along a rushing mountain stream that divides the village with a narrow canyon.  

    Enjoy free time to have lunch (not included) and explore the village. Walk round the narrow medieval streets and vaulted passages, visit ceramics shops and meet the local artists and craftsmen.

    Also available: Water games in the Verdon from April to September: Rafting, Canyonning, Hydrospeed.. All activities are organized and led by professionals.

  • Nature and legends in the Sainte Baume mountain

    This massif that took its name from "baumo" which means cave in Provence, is largely linked to the history of Mary Magdalene.

    Driven out from Palestine during the persecution of the early Christians, she landed in Les Saintes Marie de la Mer, where began her mission of evangelization. She spent the last years of her life in penance in the cave in the Sainte Baume, which made this place from the beginning a fertile ground for Christians.

    You will join the Ste Baume mountain by a wild and winding road through the pass of Espigoulier, the highest of the Bouches du Rhône.

    From the Hospitality of the Dominican Brothers, through the magnificent forest relic of Sainte Baume planted by centenarians unique plant species in southern Europe, you will reach the Cave St. Mary Magdalene, one of the most important Christian pilgrimage by the Kings'path marked by oratories (45 min walk). Your guide will explain all the legends linked to the mountain and its former occupants Druids and Celtic population.

    In the afternoon, discovery of a very traditional old ice house. Indeed, from the 17th to the 19th century, the ice making and trade was an important part of the local economy (10 min. walk from the road).
